Hali Ross: Divorce & Family Law Attorney

Hali Ross is admitted to practice law in the State of Illinois and focuses her work in family law matters. Her background reflects a strong commitment to issues that directly impact families, children, and individuals navigating significant life transitions.

Ms. Ross earned her Juris Doctor from Chicago-Kent College of Law. During law school, she clerked for the Honorable Judge Gregory Ahern in the Circuit Court of Cook County Domestic Relations Division. In that role, she gained firsthand experience with divorce proceedings, allocation of parental responsibilities, parenting time disputes, and other complex family law matters that come before the Domestic Relations Division. This experience provided her with valuable insight into courtroom procedure, judicial decision-making, and the practical realities families face during litigation.

Prior to law school, Ms. Ross earned her Bachelor of Arts in Gender and Women’s Studies, with a minor in Communication, from the University of Illinois Chicago. Her academic background reflects a longstanding interest in advocacy and issues affecting families and communities.

After college, Ms. Ross worked as a legal assistant at a Social Security and Disability law firm, where she developed a strong foundation in client communication, case preparation, and legal procedure. She also volunteered as a Guardian Ad Litem with the Florida Guardian Ad Litem Office, advocating for the best interests of children involved in court proceedings.

Ms. Ross approaches her work with diligence and attention to detail, understanding that family law matters often involve deeply personal and emotional circumstances. She is committed to helping clients navigate these challenges with clarity and steady guidance.

In her free time, Ms. Ross enjoys strength training, yoga, and taking her dog for walks.
