His background includes extensive trial work, high-value commercial litigation, corporate advisory roles, and in-house counsel positions for major national companies. Mr. Cabreré’s broad litigation foundation strengthens his work in family law, where clients benefit from his ability to analyze complex issues, negotiate effectively, and advocate with precision in contested matters.

Mr. Cabreré has tried cases to verdict, handled bench trials, jury trials, arbitrations, and mediations, and negotiated favorable resolutions in high-stakes disputes. His experience managing intricate civil cases translates directly to family law matters that involve significant financial questions, business interests, property division, or allegations requiring evidentiary hearings. He also brings deep experience in employment, consumer protection, negligence, and real estate related disputes, areas that often intersect with family law cases involving marital assets, closely held businesses, and financial misconduct.

Before entering private practice, Mr. Cabreré served as a Production Attorney and Legal Advisor for a division of Warner Bros. Television in Chicago, overseeing legal issues related to employment, licensing, ADA compliance, and contract interpretation. He later worked as a Litigation Case Manager for CUNA Mutual Group, where he developed strategies that led to successful summary judgment rulings and multi-million dollar negotiated outcomes. These roles enhanced the analytical, advocacy, and problem solving skills that now support his work on behalf of family law clients facing complex or emotionally charged disputes.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Cabreré practiced at several respected Chicago law firms, managing high exposure litigation, conducting detailed investigations, and representing clients in matters requiring careful preparation and decisive courtroom advocacy. He is a graduate of Indiana University’s Maurer School of Law, where he received multiple honors for his trial advocacy, including recognition in the Frederick Douglass Moot Court Competition. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of California, Los Angeles.
